The Cruel Sea's breakout third album The Honeymoon Is Over, one of the greatest Australian records of the 1990s, celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this year.

The band have decided to throw it a party, by getting back together and taking their 5x ARIA Award-winning, triple Platinum album on the road around the country.

Touring through cities in October through to December will be the (mostly) original line-up of Tex Parkins out the front, guitarist Dan Rumour, drummer Jim Elliott, bassist Ken Gormly, together with Matt Walker filling in for the late and much-missed James Cruickshank on guitar and keys.

Tex Perkins joins Karen Leng on Double J to share some stories from one of Australia's favourite bands.
