Pub Choir — beer, singing and Kate Bush(Mia Forrest)

Back in 2017, Astrid Jorgensen was directing seven choirs, focusing on children and older people.

She was struggling to get people her own age to turn up and give over to the joy of singing with a group.

Then Astrid came up with the magic ingredient — beer.

Pub Choir was born and it has turned into a sell-out sensation.

Each month a group of people get together in a pub and Astrid teaches them a song to sing together.

This year, after a video of Pub Choir singing ‘Running Up That Hill’ went viral, an excited Kate Bush got in touch.
