With an all-Zambian band in tow, Sampa The Great is currently taking her triumphant new album As Above So Below around the world.

A vibrant celebration of her return to Zambia – the place she set her heart on becoming a musician –  Sampa's welcomed a killer guest list that includes Angélique KidjoDenzel Curry, and her co-producer, Zambian legend Mag44.

Back in Australia supporting Billie Eilish, Sampa The Great talks to Tim Shiel about her homecoming, paying homage to the psych-folk sounds of Zamrock, and when her sister and collaborator Mwanjé is finally dropping an album of her own.
