2018: The year in sound

Every year on RNB Breakfast we take a look back at the year that was.

At home, it was a year marked by yet another leadership change, the Banking Royal Commission saw some shocking admissions from Australia's biggest banks, while reports of needles in strawberries temporarily brought the industry to its knees.

Overseas we saw the first meeting between the leader of North Korea and a sitting US President and increasingly messy UK Brexit negotiations.

It was also a year when we lost many, from the queen of soul, Aretha Franklin to physicist Stephen Hawking to Indigenous human rights defender, Bonita Mabo.
